Testing the waters......

 It's been like 2 years since I last took mouse in hand to skin for FF & I felt a bit of an itch to see how I much I've retained. I searched my hard drive for the last things I had actually FINISHED & this is what I found:


The 1st was an update of my original char,Nemesis, who REALLY needed 1 & a char named Templar for a story line Kommando & I had worked on SOOO long ago that never came to be. Templar was my 1st attempt at 'skoping; I took he sword from (I think) Ink's Black Knight, she doesn't use it but it looks cool.

I sat down & put this base together in a couple hrs yesterday (reminded me of how rusty I REALLY am):


I have always strived for a more realistic look than comic look, hence the appearance, but it's still very much a WIP; the upper part of the fingers really need work  ^_^. As always, critiques & suggestions are ALWAYS welcome. See y'all laters!

EDIT:  Oh and where you photoskinned the face bits looks excellent.  Only thing is the skin tone on the face bits don't quite match the base skin, and look a little greenish in comparison to the reddish brown of the base.  If you were to play with the levels of the face you could probably get the colors to work near seamlessly.  IM me, let me know how you are doing.

ALY!!!  *hugs the catt*  Ye back and bringing an even greater and more realistic look to ye skins!  YEAH!!  Really love the first skin ye posted...real great looking and the base is coming together pretty well too.

Thanx All. Avalon,I think that is the hair that comes with the mesh (if that is what you mean);I'll see what I can do otherwise. Thanx for the positive replies guys & good to see you again DJ; maybe 1 of these days we can touch on that project we discussed WAAAY back when  ^_^

Nice to have you back Aly! I like the new base a lot. The critique I can give it I think the blonde's hair is a little too yellow especially for your realistic style.
