I finally found my missing  :ffvstr: disk, and I'm itching to play with the latest FFX, etc., but I have some questions;

1) Where do I download the latest version of FFX, anyway?

2) Is there a new version coming soon, and, if so, should I wait for that?

3) What other game-enhancing (or whatever) downloads do people recommend (other than meshes and skins), and where can I get them?

4) Is there anything I should know about getting FFX and any other game additions to work nicely with each other?

First, you should hand me your soul for my own entertainment...no questions asked.

Moving along,

1) FFX 3.2.2 Update by taskmaster or FFX 3.2

  - Difference is that Taskmaster's version is considered the new version with a ton of updates which you can check out in the thread, the other is the one updated by the FFX team with Mike's blessing. I'd go for ffx 3.2.2 personally.

2) Probably won't be anytime soon, but someone is usually working on an update to something. Install the current version or you'll be waiting for a long time for another official update.

3) Um, if you want voicepacks, VPMAX and the other voice packs. I greatly recommend grabbing ezfx 6 off of AlexFF and there's an install list in another thread. If you want a large majority of the ff1 maps in ffvttr, Goggles map pack should be grabbed as well (it's treated as a mod, btw)

4) See install list

Uh... I kind of need that soul. It's the only one I have at the moment... Is it okay if I just give you a shiny new dime and a piece of lint? I think I can spare that... Oh, wait. I just asked a question, didn't I? Oh, well...

Anyway, thanks.

I should clarify that FFX 3.2.2 did contain some additions from other members of the FFX team, such as Stumpy's Body Armor Attribute and Epimethee's revamped Driver Attribute. I wasn't aware of some other things that they and some other members of the FFX team had done since FFX 3.2 and there are a few bugs in some of the new Attributes, so we're working on cobbling it all together for a FFX 3.3 release. It'll have alot of fixes, updates, a few new suprises and some cool enhancements to M25's AI. Hopefully, :crosses fingers: it'll be ready for release sometime next month. :D
