kkhohoho

I'm hoping it's at least 100 minutes long and that they incorporate the Greek Mythology.  As for the quality of the movie itself...I really liked New Frontier, and I liked Superman Doomsday, but thought that Batman Gotham Night wasn't that great.

It looks good, and I have faith that with Timm as executive producer it can't go too badly wrong.  I do have one question, however...........where is my animated Aquaman movie? :P

Except for the suiting up sequence at the begining (been done to death) it looks pretty dark and serious.  Animation looks very solid.  I also think this is the first time I've seen an animated Wonder Woman who looks physically "strong".  Hard to say much more from the clip.

Something I noted in the article that followed..
QuoteBruce Timm is interested in doing a Catwoman animated movie and removing the stain of the live action movie.
I would look forward to this greatly.

Yeah, GG, I noticed that too, and as long as they don't go with the whole "lady of the night" nonsense, I'd be interested in a Catwoman flick....well...I just hope they play the B:TAS angle, she was actually an interesting character.

I Can see it now "Aquaman: The Curse of the annoying Radar sounding Telepathy"
I like the concept of aquaman, but, with every encounter i've had with the aquaman in the comics i have: he comes off as a mega-martyr, by martyr i mean, "4. a person who seeks sympathy or attention by feigning or exaggerating pain, deprivation, etc. " (From http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/martyr) maybe i'm just reading the wrong comics! :P

Yeah Doc, you're DEFINITELY reading the wrong comics....unfortunately, although I love the character like few others, he hasn't had too many GOOD comics.  If you can get your hands on 'em, check out his back-up run in Adventure Comics....there was a lot of great stuff there.  More within your reach might be the Sub-Diego run of the second to latest Aquaman series, starting around issue 13 or 15.  It's a pretty solid set of tales, although too dark for its own good, and ultimately not living up to it's potential (thanks to Aquaman's greatest nemesis, not Black Manta or Ocean Master, but DC Editors).

If you want to see how awesome Aquaman can be, check out the JLU episodes featuring him (Enemy Below, Terror Beyond, Ultimatum) as they do a pretty good job of respecting his powers.  He is in mega jerk mode, though, so realize that the portrayal is flawed.

I actually just got JLU seasons one and two and you are very correct about the powers thing. I'm gonna look for some of the issues you suggested, thanks,

It was a relief to see Wonder Woman physically drawn as a strong yet feminine woman.

Nathan Fillion is going to be Steve Trevor!

Haha, yeah, I noticed that, and I found it quite entertaining.

Also, glad to hear it Doc, I hope you find those issues and enjoy them.  If you do get a hold of them, feel free to drop me a PM to talk about 'em.

So that must mean that Diana's father... is the Batman villain, Clayface?

If anybody picked up Gotham Knight (which they should) you'll see behind the scenes of the Wonder Woman movie.  I will be picking this one up.

I'll back that up. Gotham Knights is like the Animatrix - something cool added on, and yet isn't entirely canon with the movie. Very recommended

The behind the scenes of Wonder Woman is pretty much nothing.

A little bit of news.  It looks like Green Lantern is next in line after WW.  Here's hoping for Hal.
