hellboy help

i'm using 'water' damage for hellboy's gun, cause pretty much nothing has resistance to that, right?
the questions:
1.  what would be a good voice for hellboy, based on what we have?
2.  what would be a good fx for the hellboy gun?
3.  what hero file do you use for hellboy's stats?

You mean the hard coded water damage that never made it into the UI? I have a feeling that causes crashes, although I could be wrong.

sorry I've not seen either film (although I want to) so I can't be of much help.

i used the editor to put it in, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

Hey BiL,   on the FX front i usually use the ffvttr tank cannon projectile,  cause its a pretty cool 3d fx of a giant shell. i guess you could use different projectile powers for it though (piercing, heat etc) to simulate different types of ammo.

Water damage? Is that because it's got all those explosive shells with various occult wards? Personally, I'd still just make it a regular old piercing like any bullet, except hugely powerful and with lousy accuracy. As to the FX, I like the cannon idea.

Good voice? Something gruff. Isn't there a gruff male? Tombstone COULD work, if you have no other option and really need a voice.

And finally stats. Well he's really strong, and really tough, but not incredibly so. Still, he can take a heckuva lickin'. I've never seen him move particularly fast, and he seems like he has average agility. I'd give him slightly better than average endurance. Add to that, he can heal very well.

If you have any sort of occult characters, like vampires or whatever, than have specific weaknesses then he'd have something to exploit those. I wonder if, through FFX, you can tag those types as "monsters" and give him one of those analyzing powers that makes your attacks work better, and set that so he can only use it on "monsters." Does that even make sense or is possible?

energy bullets could work.
