Maps and Map Paks?

God I feel like such a noob but I really didn't have many addons on my last computer when I move to :ffvstr:. Is there a Master Map list or can someone point me in the direction of some maps?

It does. I knew there were a lot of maps out there I just wasn't sure where. :) I feel like such a noob... :(

there are also some by humanton and gengoro on yahoo groups. I saw these linked to just last week...*sigh*, I'll have to find the thread.

Has anyone seen a large, flat desert map big enough for a military base some trucks, tanks and one rampaging hulk?

You could use the small_blank map (it's actually very big)...Or is that too flat?

Or the :ff: blank_desert map could be Skoped (removing the giant rocks and stuff) to make it more flat.

For FFVTTR you can skope the Cuban Village map to desert....not flat but similates dunes (also has the cave which could be a good spawn point for heavy equipment).

You can also skope the Central Park map (FF1)--just remove the fountain bits--relatively flat with a few "natural looking" terrain features.
