I desperately need to be writing a paper right now, but I can't focus. Personally I blame all of you....especially Prev.

...My sleep schedule is royally screwed up now.

I did that a couple of times in undergrad, and I was able to just go through the day, then come back and crash, and be ready to play Halo and hang out that night, but I can't do that these days. 'Course, I didn't have a house, a wife, and pets to take care of back then, so I had a lot more free time.

I haven't had to write a paper in almost 15 years.
My lack of focus these days is directed only towards my job.

Whats funny is that I personally blame prev as well.
Maybe he can frustratingly point us to a tutorial he's mentioned 20 times before showing us how to fix that...

As for you, Shirley, I'd like to point you to a tutorial, but there's so many readily available things to do for your problem. You could slap your boss, destroy your building, allow me to punch you out. All our good ideas to fix your focus issues...especially the last one. Doesn't that sound fun? Fun in a can indeed. ^_^

The one I'm working on at the moment is about "A True Widow," a play by Shadwell for my Restoration Drama class, which I am taking to fill my genre requirement for my Masters.

Haha, Goggles, we need to band together and destroy the menace of Prev....especially since he smashed my computer! Ohh, ohh! You can all blame him for the DCUG not being out yet!

How'd you do BWPS?

3 Bs (Intro to Fake Science That Will Never Help Anyone Ever, Digital Logic Circuits, Software Construction) and a C (Probability and Statistics). Not too terrible, and actually very good for the amount of effort I put in this semester. I'd really like to graduate with a 2.5 since a 3.0 seems out of the question at this point. *sigh* :doh: I blame having to work and uh... society.

I'm on the other side - I just finished grading 27 10 to 12 page undergraduate papers on Sinclair's The Jungle as a historical document. I can tell you this - most undergrads don't get past the chapters wher Jurgis works for the meat packing plant. I got detailed summaries of the firis t five chapters, and then it fell off dramatically. Note to all those who plan a career in academia (including myself) - if you have ay respect for your teaching assistants, should you have them, do not assign 10 to 12 page papers as a final assignment.

Math is the devil BWPS! Ha, Doctorchallenger, I have discovered, as I've gotten older and spent more time on this big campus, that the average undergrad is quite the lazy bum. :D
