ok guys, whats your thoughts on this battle between two boxers?
Daredevil. I think he has the speed and agilty to beat him. But just by a little. Also, if the lights ever go out, it's all DD.
Daredevil for sure.
Daredevil is also a ninja, and waaaay more agile than Wildcat. Plus, he can use his senses to anticipate Wildcat's moves, literally putting him one step ahead.
Wildcat is probably a little stronger, but that's about it.
Daredevil wins.
Even in an all-out boxing match i'd give this to DD, he'd probably imagine boxing his old man and slip into a rage filled frenzy, like he's been doing lately.
Wildcat's a pretty tough customer and if they just stuck to boxing I'd go with him. DD however doesn't fight like just a boxer and has lots of other fighting skills and way superior agility and avoidance skills. I'll go with Matt.
Wildcat is like, a hundred or something, and DD is only 70 or 80, tops. Battle of the geriatric titans!
In a boxing ring all the crowds and noise will confuse and disorient DD, and Wildcat will fustigate him.
But should they sojourn away from the shores of Fistiania, to some rooftop with many vents and chimbleys, DD will jump about in unlikely poses until he gets the upper hand.
Of course, Ted also has the JSA backing him up, whereas DD only has the weak and ineffectual New Avengers, who would be too busy running away from ninjas to help him fight.
On the whole, I'd give it to Wildcat.
Barely.
I got the impression Wildcat was heavyweight boxing champ and, due to the cat / nine lives bit, is still pretty much at the peak of his abilities. He is also an expert in several other martial arts, not just boxing. He could also see in the dark (again, the cat bit), so whether the match-up is a daytime or nighttime affair doesn't really matter.
Honestly, it's a close fight, but Daredevil really doesn't have much of an edge, if any. DD wins because he is the more popular hero.
Well, I'm going with Wildcat because the modern day Daredevil just mopes around in a trenchcoat as Matt Murdock. If the battle takes place at the height of their powers I'd say the fight goes to DD because of his radar sense and his billy club.

I think the contest might be too close to call. DD's enhanced senses give him an edge, but Wildcat has more expierience-it might even things up a lot. Funny thing might be that, after a few minutes of DD coutnering most of Wildcat's moves and getting in a few (very few) puches of his own, Wildcat says something like "Blast it, man; you fight just like your father."
