It's really tiny, and only affect infra red, but as a "proof of concept" technology it is quite exciting.
I solemnly swear that they are up to no good.
While this is a different way of going about it, this is really nothing new. Electronically based cloaks have already existed for years, just not anything practical, which is still the case, apparently.

I've seen some before too, still very cool though.
Just wanted to say when I read your post I pictured some guy who is 80% invisible except for the bright orange plug going from his cloak to the wall. That would make an awful superhero.
