Title: Interior Office Map?
Post by: yell0w_lantern on July 08, 2015, 08:46:27 PM
Is there a 3R map for an office-type interior with cubicles and desks?

There is an Office Space map by Gengoro. There is a  :ffvstr: version in GogglesPizanno's FF1 Mappack 2.0 for FFvTTR.

There is a preview pic here: http://frp.unlimited2.net/fxforce/public_html/ADDONS/officespace.jpg

The map pack can be found here: http://gpwarehouse.freedomforceforever.com/

Thank you, kind sir.
Oddly, it turns out I have that map pack installed already.  That particular map, however, comes up black in the editor.  Other maps from the pack have worked fine.  Am I missing a layout or extents file or something?

I'm afraid that after a damaged hard drive incident a few years back, I never reinstalled the map pack. I have the download and checked its contents as I thought that I had remembered something resembling what you were looking for. I'm sorry that I can't give you any "hands on" help right now. I'm not as well versed in maps as I am in other things, so I'm probably not much help anyway. Does the map work in the Rumble Room and just show up black in the editor? I would imagine that there is a very specific issue causing this that could be better answered by someone more familiar with map making. In the folder for the map, I did notice that it does not have an ambience.dat file. I see that most of the maps have this file, but not all, so I didn't know if it was necessary.
