Title: Marvel Cinematic Universe - Skins, Skopes, and Meshes
Post by: detourne_me on August 21, 2015, 01:33:14 AM
Hello everyone, this is less of a request but more of a running total of what resources we have so far for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or close enough to it.
These are usually high poly meshes with a bit more detail than usual.

What we have so far....

Hulk by hmarrs - http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/hmarrsineffect/
Scarlet Witch by Sick Alice - http://catman.freedomforceforever.com/pages/avengers.html
Ultron by Sick Alice - http://catman.freedomforceforever.com/pages/avengers.html
Thor by John Jr. - https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/cavernadosilencio/info
Captain America by Windblown - http://freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=56840.0
Iron Man (new skope) - https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/detourne_me/files/Marvel%20Skopes/
Rocket Raccoon and Chitauri Soldier by Style - http://freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=48949.0

Am I missing anything?

I did Phil Coulson, Heimdall, Pepper Potts, Tony Stark, Drax, Star-Lord and Gamora as their live action counterparts. I'm currently finishing Loki.
I also did live action versions of Sue Storm and Spider-man though I don't think they count for MCU. Or Spider-man is supposed to soon so I dunno.
I see windblown working on Steve and maybe others.

It seems like we're well on the way with this. We should list who isn't done as well. I'm sort of baffled there isn't a Sam Jackson Nick Fury to be honest? I almost went ahead and scrapped one together today but I'm a subpar skinner and think someone else would be better equipped. Iron Man armors are obviously lacking because there's a lot of them. I would be game to team projects here. I already set up what's needed and have plenty of prefab models from other games to work from so it would go pretty quickly. The hardest being Hulkbuster of course but not impossible if I had someone more skilled working the keyframe end.

These are my SHIELD Agents, Nick Fury (SLJ version), and Tony Stark (with Iron Man gauntlets) skopes..
(believe it or not.. all are on the same skope but I wish I could make it an Alpha enabled one).

The skins are very much temporary since they are just for me to play with in game.

I'm also in the process of doing a couple of old Thing skins, if that counts. Sick Alice also did the previous version of The Invisible Girl, I believe. Yeah, and I've been looking at pictures of Ioan Gruffud (sp?) and might even look up Alex Hyde-White.

Oh I'm working on a Benicio version of the Collector as well. Actually I think I'll try and push that one out tonight since I don't have much left to do on it. I guess what, this leaves Hawkeye, Nat, Yondu, Groot, Peggy, Quicksilver, Odin, Bucky, all the cats from the SHIELD show, Maria Hill, The Nova Corps, Ant-Man (I'll do this if anyone wants, easy model swap really), Ronan, Nebula, The Warriors Three, Rhodey (working on one here albeit slowly) and um...Jane Foster for MCU mainstays? And maybe that annoying hipster chick with the knitted hat from the Thor movie and a Dr.Selvig with an underpants variant? No your right, I don't want to see those two either, lol.

Does somebody have a pic of Pietro's costume from behind?

Look into models for Marvel Heroes and/or Contest Of Champions. There's a movie Quicksilver floating about for one or the other that you can use as a guide from all angles.

Awesome work guys!  That Coulson with the cool gun is really neat. :D

Thanks. The Destroyer gun was a hodgepdoge between various gun bits and some from the Lego version of it. I wasn't that experienced when I put it together and didn't think I would pull it off.

That's actually one of my favorite Guns out there, and I'm really hoping that once Life gets back to normal and I can get back into FF on a regular basis, that I can hopefully find some way to use that Gun, because it is just that cool.
