Title: Custom OBJ in Mission (FFEDIT)
Post by: sonicmancool on December 18, 2016, 08:58:38 PM
Hey all,
After messing around with some searches I've managed to find custom models that I would like to put into a map I started working on (Obviously I'll give credit where it's due).

One small little problem I have is actually getting FFEDIT to recognize the object. In the mission tab, under Marker Details you can choose an object to place down, but you're limited to their selection of objects (which is actually a lot).

Any help is appreciated, and if it helps, I'm using the GOG version of  :ff:

Have you created the objects as Templates under the template tab of FFEdit?
Also, please make sure that all of your datapaths are the same, too.  you may have adjusted the templates for the FFX folder, but not the Data folder.... something like that.

Ahhh Yeah. Creating an object under templates fixed it for me, thanks!
