Title: Finding a community
Post by: emmaobrien on April 22, 2024, 07:37:07 AM
I'm in search of a forum dedicated to do-it-yourself projects, with a current focus on electrical and wiring issues. However, I'm also keen on finding a community that covers a broad range of topics like plumbing and carpentry. I'm looking for a welcoming environment where the emphasis is on sharing knowledge rather than promoting products or services. Given that this forum embodies the friendly and helpful atmosphere I value, and considering many members here likely engage in DIY activities, I thought this would be the perfect place to seek recommendations.

Welcome Emma.

Unfortunately I can't help you with that, but maybe someone else can.

Usually when I need help with something like what you're looking for, I just search for a youtube video that can show me how its done.

Welcome Emma! I can't help you with that, but I too would be interested in the answer. Or maybe someone here feels like launching DYI reborn? ;)

Not sure if it's okay to post an outside link but go try the r/DIY reddit.
That seems to be what you are looking for.
