I probably wont be doing Robin or Artemis. The only reason I did Ms Martian is because I had started her months ago (same with Powerboy). I just need to finish them up. Aqualad was completely random and done after watching the YJ premiere back in Nov.  To be honest I'd rather start piecing together some stuff I lost and some ideas I've had brewing in my head for months now.

The Hero - herodad1 Redesign

I was in a merry mood yesterday and had some free time to finally together an idea I had for a while from my Fractal Universe. I initially wanted to use a pre-existing American themed forum member but herodad1 struck me as deserving of a new avatar. So the all-American superhero known as the Hero was created. The typical superman (following herodad1's existing powerset), the twist is he is powered by the hope of the American people through the chest implant and gauntlet. On the gauntlet is a map of the US and he is less or more powerful in certain States.
The Hero is the leader of a North American superhero team (which I'm calling the North Americans & NAFTA in my head but will probably change it to something else). I'll be updating two my existing designs to accompany him which on paper look great together.

Wow that's cool,  great idea using that mesh for the neat keyframes.
I know I can't really see the control panel on his gauntlet, but from this angle it looks a little like an iPod. Tres cool.

Lady Sasquatch Redesign

So you may recognize this character from my Weird World project with Unko. I gave her more of a patriotic look for this North American team I am putting together. She is #2 of 3 (maybe 4). She was originally envisioned to be the Wonder Woman of Weird World - a member of a secluded empowered offshoot of Homo erectus who live in the Canadian Rockies, Lady Sasquatch is the beloved champion of Canada. She is superhuman strong and durable and uses rudiment weapons made out of ice. She is also able to generate an arctic chill from her mouth (you can see her breath during animation).

Lol we will be seeing a Mexican Batman-like character. I've been playing with the name La Muerte Negro but I will most likely find another name. I will also have a Caribbean diety ala Thor (you've seen him before but he will be on a new skope )

Lady Sasquatch, wow! I really liked her character before, and I can totally see her branching off into full-on superheroness after the events of Weird World. Plus, I love Canadian themed heroes! Totally awesome.

Herodad is pretty killer, too. Great design. I love it when you skin originals.

Just for the record, it should be "La Muerte Negra". Death is a "she" in spanish.

Is that accurate in this case though? Sure, if it was the actual "Death" entity that's true, but this is just a guy using it as a name. *shrug* I don't claim to be any sort of expert (and if I'm wrong, whatevz), it just seems odd to use female syntax for a male character.

If the name AA is going for is "The Black Death", then Sr.Cabeza (great name btw) is correct. If I told my grandmother that is was "la muerte negro" that killed somebody she would smack me upside the head. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that's not what AA is going for, sometimes liberties have to taken with a foreign tongue. I wish I had a better explanation for you guys, but conversely I can't make my grandmother understand why the "ph" in telephone should sound like an F.And with that my 250th post.Yay.
