Charoca - 25k polys

Uploaded King Kull as is - in Ancient Heroes/ Fantasy next to Conan and Belit. For FFvt3R only.

I may work on it some more later, but its where it is for now. I'd like to add the 3d straps from Cranlox's version but having difficulty with that.

 The minimum EWorld model is still huge and I can't see the final model

When I'm home I'm going to download it I hope I've helped instead of complicating

It was actually 25k vertices and 50k polys.

I converted it to a obj file to look at it. It wouldn't work as a nif at that polycount, but I was able to get it down to 25% of original at 6k vertices and 12k polys. I was able to export that out as a nif and skin it.

This might be workable/ riggable at this level.

Definitely helping - while not everything is usable, at least it gives some new options for starting points and ways to achieve a final result.

The charoca looks very good, it's great that you were able to shrink it. If you have the time and desire to put it in line, I would like to take advantage of it. Today I will upload the last version I made of Lavaman that turned out very well. It would be interesting to see this stone giant and if you can obtain the texture you could modify the furious version to charoca by making the skin. :pulgar hacia arriba:

I just put up a new Miraculous request post (with an updated list) so that I don't have to keep bumping the old one.

Randomdays

I did the four characters that were done basically as a favor for Cranlox. I have a good working relationship with him, as well as with Dean, Dr Ruina and a few others.

For the show itself, I have little interest in it, and I've never been a huge fan of Anime. I have a huge list of projects I'm working on before I get to my next burnout, and I'm focusing on that.

Now, I know what it's like to have a want list for the game - there was so much I wanted when I first joined the forums.

Bu I went out and learned how to do things myself, as far as I could go, and have had a lot of help, from the above and others.

At this point in time, over 20 years later from where we started, the number of creators here is down to a handful. Why don't you join us?

My advice is too look over some of the import tutorials I set up here, and learn how to do them yourself. A lot of the Miraculous characters are out there to be imported to FF, they're fairly low poly, and you could quickly add some of them into FF instead of depending on others. Seeing your first import working in game is also a good feeling.

If you need help getting setup, I could help you with that, but my sitting down and knocking off that list probably won't be happening.

cranlox

Thanks again for the 4 Miraculous characters, I did Stoneheart and the HotMoth versions are largely covering the main ones from the show. Many of the list are rehashes of the same characters with other costumes or characters that are tertiary, at most there are 5 in total that would be relatively important.

You're welcome. I'm just glad that at this late date people are still downloading them and playing with them. Hats off the all the original modders and game creators I'm importing from as well.

A while back I was experimenting with making some teen characters by putting standard skins on teen bodies.

I went back today and added some touches to finish them up from before.

I was able to figure out how to get Taskmaster (and Taskmistress) working in Blender with some of my newer imports, so I used that for a base.

In Blender, I removed the head part of the mesh from Taskmaster and replaced it with the one from male_teen_12 to give it a rounder look, and added the hair from female_bob

From there it was basically nifskoping different pieces on to individualize each of them.

They all use a kitbash of Kenn X's Tarzan for the face except for Conn.

Andar - the younger brother of Turok, Son of Stone - Dell/ and Gold Key version. main skin is Tommyboy's indian_t. Uses the loincloths from taskmistress and the feather from PS's Tonto.

Cathoris - the son of John Carter of Mars. Uses LB/ JKC's John Carter skin

Korak - Uses Kenn X's Tarzan for its skin

Thuvia - from ERB's John Carter of Mars series - Love of Cathoris - as before, a simple skin swap onto AA's Stature

Conn - Son of REH's Conan the Barbarian. Marvel Version. Added the skirt from Gren's Apollo. Uses the skin from Gren's Apollo. Adding the skirt makes it appear broken in the FF viewer.

All 4 of the boys should work in FF. For FFvt3R I think they would have to be converted. They've been sized down to 80% of standard height.

AA's Stature is for FFvt3r

Uploaded to the megasite "Others" folder as "Teen Pack.rar"

DoctorRuina

A good job with Conn and the son of Turok   I have seen that detourne_me did a Turok skope time ago. And I've been wanting to read the John Carter of Mars novels for a long time, although I have read some Tarzan novels.

Randomdays

Thanks Doc. Not Turok's son though, Andar is his younger brother

Their faces are rather grim though - I'm thinking that Conn's face might be a better one overall. Maybe some bootcuffs on Conn as well.

If you like the Tarzan's you'll like the Martian books as well. ERB was a great writer. You should lso check out his Venus series, Caspak series (Land the Time Forgot) and Pellucidar series (Center of the Earth)

Ah, ok, is the brother hehe!
In the comics, Conn has almost the same face as Conan. Maybe you can do a kittbash with Conan's skin...
The problem with the John Carter novels is that they are hard to find. I think i have one in my library but I don't know where

Randomdays

If you don't mind ebooks, the copyright on most of his works has expired and they are free to read without any legal problems.

The Project Gutenberg site hosts only free legal ebooks and has them

https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/62

I actually like Conn's face here. It's hard to see it with the hair in the pic, but Gren's Apollo has a nice face in my opinion

Previous version of Conn using a Conan Face... very grumpy looking.

I'm thinking that trying to kitbash different faces on these could help improve them. I'm pretty sure that the creators of the main skins above allow kitbashing of their work if credit is given. For the faces, I'd have to see what might look good and make sure any face I use also allows kitbashing.

The different shape of the teen_12 head changes the face without any work having to be done to it.

DoctorRuina

It's difficult for me to read a whole book in English. There are old translations in Spanish, but they are difficult to find.

DoctorRuina

Hmm... Maybe I can use these models to make this old Spanish character, Piel de Lobo (Wolf Skin).

Some ship robots of the thousand robots Metallus' army. Also usable as drones variants.

Randomdays

Doc, thanks for the robot ships.

I think the wolf skin wouldn't be hard to do off of one of the teen bases above.

DoctorRuina

Using the Randomdays skope as base I did this skope of this very obscure Spanish character, Piel de Lobo (Wolf Skin?). Finally I resized the mesh and the head and did some adjustements to make him look more like the comic book character.

Some of my figures wanted to salute one of our heroic members on a special day! Happy Birthday RD!

Randomdays

Thank you very much Cranox. It means a lot.

Nice figure collection, very varied in your choices. Neat that everything there is now in the game.

Going to be a quiet birthday since money is tight (for just about everyone) My wife picked me up some favorite snacks and a new protector for my table that I use to red a lot of digital comics and books on.

In the US, there's a small food chain named "Mission BBQ" dedicated to support for first responders like the police and fire fighters, and for all branches of the military. They give out a free meal to veterans on their birthday, so that's where I'll be going.

Shout out to them.

DoctorRuina

We will do any of your requests as a birthday gift hehe

Randomdays

Thanks Doc.

Still a lot on my list, but I think the best would be some animated Conan characters if possible, since I probably can't do those myself - Zula, Jasmine, Snagg, Greywolf, etc. And of course, the bad guys

DoctorRuina

#1619
I don't know the animated series but I have read Howard's novels and the Marvel Conan comics. Zula appears in the serie? And who are the bad guys?
