Alright, so I have  :ff: on this new laptop I bought, and I copied most of the alterations I'd made to the game files (scripts, lang files, dat. files, etc.), but the thing is that when I try to change things with the Editor or change a line in any of the written files, it doesn't save the changes I made, frequently reverting back what the original was. And even more infuriating is that I when I try to save a change to a file like ffxmulti.py or whatever, it won't save, saying the path doesn't exist and it can't create one there. What the heck?!
Dark Phoenix: You once told Jean Grey that the greatest joy a teacher has is to be surpassed by his own pupil. Enjoy!
Professor Xavier: In the battlefield of the mind, my will shall prevail!
DP: Do you really think your puny mind is a match for mine? The conceit of you humans! The arrogance!

It is storing the files in the Compatibility Files section. All you need to do is hit Compatibility Files on the tool bar and move the files to the original directory.

Okay, it worked. Thanks. Now, how do I keep that from happening in the near future?
