I have a digital copy of FFvs3R purchased through gamersgate.

The game install and plays fine except i have a problem with a pink spinning cube when trying to create a custom hero in game.
also the text is missing when choosing skins.

I have an

AMD PhenomII x3 720
ATI HD4870 1024GB
catalyst 9.4
4GB ram
Windows Vista 64-bit and windows xp 32-bit

well, sleeplessone, before I get my sleep on, a few questions:

What meshes are you trying to use? The official ones, or is it just a few meshes from the list?

And as far as skin, you don't see the skin names ingame at all. You just cycle through until you find the oen you want.

I have the original FF and when i go to create a custom hero  i have the meshes and names , ie Man_cape on the left  and a spinning man in costume on the right, which is a blue costume with a cape and a mask and some yellow ... i think i forget the rest of the colours he may have.

In FFvs3R I do not have and of the official meshes like female_longhair or male_cape... the list on left is blank. and the placeholder for the spinning mesh to see what it looks like is a spinning pink cube which in any game since i know quite a bit about computers is corrupted textures/file in this case mesh.  The biggest problem is that even if i skip this part , when i tried to buy powers in the create a hero editor in game , i get a CTD with FFvs3R.  I am trying to lay my hands on a disc version of the game since im dubious about my digital copy although gamersgate dont say its a problem their end yet.

This would be onlyofficial custom meshes. The meshes for the characters in gmae like alchemist are fine and i can modify them with no problem.

Ok, firstly you should probably check the little pulldown tab at the top left, because what it might be is that your copy just did not include the custom meshes, which might have even been true with the actual game. This is easy to fix, and I can direct you to several websites that have them.

If it's the official meshes as well though (which the pulldown menu will allow you to check) you have a bigger issue, but still one you can deal with without resorting to buying the game a second time.

since its custom and i even worked out how to convert from FF to FFv3R for the nif converter .... so i think my problems are answered ....

i will know more when the meshes are in the game and i create a custom hero

[EDIT]

All problems Fixed ....

Sigh though using EZNifConvert + knowing where to put the files in the correct folder structure .....

sigh ... oh well , i prolly should let the play i downloaded the game from know about this since it is a legal digital copy i have.
