Freedom Force - and what I always hoped we could be

Y'know what?   Why don't we try and make a section on Wikipedia itself?
It could be right down at the bottom near External links.
That way all of the character information, and hyperlinks to related characters are already there.
Sure it's kind of lazy, but it's also the reason why wikipedia exists, an ever-expansive compendium of information about related subjects.

Now what I think what would need to be done here is...
We create a standard template for displaying the links to the content
We attach maybe a smaller FFVTTR logo or FF logo with it
We create a thread for discussing this project further.

Interesting, and it could bring some people to the community who'd love Freedom Force if they saw what it's capable of. The biggest problem I can think of is if we put ourselves out there, we might gain the attention of, say, Marvel. We know what happened the last time they caught sight of one of us.

The other problem with Wiki is that there's a high chance any links we put up will be removed. Links to game skins don't really fall under Wikipedia's objectives.

Personally I'd prefer something we're more in control of, like the FR wiki.

I really do think this is a good idea. If it's something we can all easily contribute to there's a greater chance of this actually going somewhere. Rather than some list constructed by one person or a small group.

wikipedias not a good idea it can be edited by anyone with an account, if we did this we needed a place where only "we" confirmed members can edit the articles

Well, I'm looking into possible hosting sites for the wiki. The one it's at now has been a real pain to deal with. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Would we do a wiki? Why not an account based database where people are allowed to contribute content if they would too and it could be monitored by a group of trusted mods who could check files for ownership. I'd actually contribute time and money if it would shut everyone up at this point.
