LP- Are you doing a Rusty Collins in that outfit? I ask because I was maybe going to do the one he wore with the cargo pants and gloves since he was part of freedom force during that era and I didn't know if you were doing that version.

It's funny this post came up when it did. I was working on a Skids skope recently, but have to keep working on it.

I haven't done Rusty yet and I look forward to your skin, Area. If you decide not to do it, though, let me know.. then I'll give it a try.

Well, I'm about halfway done with Holocaust and was looking to do an easier skin for a breather and thought of Rusty for the irony. I need to skope him but that shouldn't be to hard... so I'll do his cargo pants/large V-neck outfit and leave the rest of his outfits to your more than capable hands.

BTW- As an old X-factor fan I always liked Rusty and Skids. I know Rusty was chumped out with Holocaust but whatever happened to Skids?

If I remember right, Skids went into shock after Rusty was killed and returned to the Morlock Tunnels for a brief period of time. During M-Day she reappeared among the 198 survivors and almost fell for drinking the blood of Apocalypse when he appeared with his new horsemen to recruit an army from strongest among the camp. Skids left the camp afterwards and vanished for a long time until she was seen among Masque's Morlocks when they started to attack surface dwellers and the X-Men sent members to investigate. Storm and Caliban discover her and she informs them that she is now a SHIELD Agent under deep cover before they are caught between a SHIELD strike team and the Morlocks. Skids proves to Storm she is a loyal to SHIELD and the X-Men by taking charge of the mission and leads them to Masque and informs them of his plan to cause a war between mutants and humans. Skids also informs them that her mission was to find a book that Masque had in his possession that was filled with precognitive messages by a long deceased Morlock named Qwerty. Once the mission was complete Skids took the book and left for parts unknown. She briefly reappeared at a local cemetery when the powerless Magneto was there visiting a grave and gave him the book telling him that it held the answers he needed and he still had a way to restore his mutant powers. Skids vanished afterward and probably returned to SHIELD training before it was disbanded when Norman Osborn took over and rebuilt the organization as HAMMER.

Seeing all the talk about the Morlocks makes me recall the time Sunder appeared in an X-Men book after he was supposedy killed by the Reavers.  He "died" as a member of the Muir Island X-Men team formed by Moira MacTaggart, but he appeared a short time later among the Morlocks living on Muir Island (I believe it was an issue that featured some sort of Gladiatorial games on the Island?).  He's still "officially" deceased, but they never explained how he was seen as being alive several issues after his death.

Edit:  He "dies" in issue 255 (or around there) and reappears in issue# 278 (on the cover and inside in several panels)....Sorry, I just thought it was an interesting bit about a Morlock.

Geez, that Skids stuff was recent. I don't know what it is about Fractions run but nothing about it sticks in my head. I mean I remember Lobdell stuff even.
