yes one of my skins on one of my meshes is coming up like the standard skin on the mesh can someone help me please  :)

This seems to happen when some of the skins for a mesh are in DDS format and others are in TGA.
Try converting the TGA ones to DDS so all the skins are the same format and see if that works.
