Pink Skins

Hey guys, I'm trying to add my own skins to a few meshes, but whenever I try to add my own skin it just appears pink. Even if I simply add a small mark onto the skin that comes with the mesh it still appears all pink.
At the moment im trying to skin the MARVEL WEREWOLVES using Bevo's great werewolf mesh, but again the skin appears all pink.
Any help?

Make sure you have a lightmap, refl, gloss/glow file to go with the base skin.
