Hey folks,

I just started using Google Docs and Mail and I was wondering if there was a way to send a Google docs as an attachment through Google Mail.  When I choose Attach, I am prompted to attach a file from my computer.  Is there any other way to do this?  I suppose if the receiver also has a Google account then I can share the file with them -- is that correct?  What if they don't have a Google account?

Thanks,
Tort

In google docs, you can invite "anyone" to view and edit the document regardless of what type of email they have. When you do invite them to view/edit the document, you can also send them a message at the same time.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the "email as an attachment" function is also under the "share" options in Gdoc.
