Texas Jack, Yahoo, and Porn

Someone requested the keyframes from Pulp Versatile, so I opened up all three of Texas Jack's groups, and checked for them. I wanted to see if there was anything I might have missed or particularly wanted anyway, since I'm STILL doing an install of FF1 on the new comptuer. I was rather appalled at the amount of ponography that has been uploaded into TJ's third group in recent times, and am wondering if we can do anything about it. I feel that we SHOULD, if for no other reason to keep his stuff available in a family friendly environment.

I mean, you can barely find the meshes and Max files there is so much porn...

There is one revival group already, to hold TJ's stuff that was not in the remaining two groups, so what about another with similar parameters? Do we need to ask Texas Jack, or just figure that, if he gave permission for the last one, this is really a kind of continuation?

What can we do to save the stuff in these two groups?

I'm willing to allow someone to set up an archive on my site.  No spam, porn, or any other issues.  I'll have to reset and reorganize the passwords though.  I really should have worked on that site a while ago anyways.

Yeah, I actually had a similar experience when I was trying to find the test_flight mesh.  I had to do a search of the page because there was so much smut there.  Thanks Cat.

Another candidate to save from rampant spam. Would we have permission to archive Fusion's stuff?

It also started happening on some of my Yahoo sites, so I had to alter the settings to only allow me to upload and edit files, pictures, etc...

I also made all forum posts moderated, so I have to approve any new messages that people post.

It has kept spam and porn out of my groups all together.

I have personally invited visitors to my sole Yahoo Group to upload spam and porn, yet no one has taken me up on the offer.  *sigh*  I'm just not pretty enough, am I? *sob*

This is a great idea and I hope that TJ's meshes do get collected in one source, minus the porn. It really is a bit much.

I know that, though with fusion as much as i enjoyed working with him. i've always found it easier to get his permission on any of his stuff
