Let's say I give Supes Freeze Breath, the animation and FX show him shooting it from his right hand. How would I change that to shhot from his face instead? This is  :ffvstr: BTW.

The answer you seek was a few threads below this one and in the comp. list of tutorials thread (among other easily accessible places). :P. Just open FFedit, find the fx, and change the core.nif's attachment point. It might benefit you to just make a copy of the fx with different attachment points rather than changing the original.

Thank you, and yeah sorry to clutter the board up, but the one thread I found about it doesn't mention how to apply this to other mods such as FFX, I assume I just copy the changed FX file over to them and it will apply.

No, mods have their own dats. If you want the changes to happen in other mods, you'll need to actually change their dats as well using the same process. If you just copy over "non file size matching" files, you run the risk of erasing fx entries and breaking the mod.

Okay I believe I understand, I'm trying to find cone_cold, or generic_cone_cold in the fx/generic folder in FFEDIT but I can't seem to find it anywhere(Is this power built into the dats?) so that I can change the path to FFx3 and make the necessary changes from there.

that's a built in fx. I think you misunderstood. At most, the only thing you need to do is find "generic_cone_cold" in ffedit, hit copy, then change the attachment points to BIP01 Head or what have you.

As for making the change in FFX, you need to go to the "Options" page in FFEdit and change the "Primary" path to the "FFX3" folder and repeat the process.

Thank you for all your help, sorry to bug you with this stuff, but I like to learn how to do all these things, and what better way than to ask the people who know their stuff. :D
