Just when I thought I had most problems figured out...

Attempting to uninstall everything related to FF1 :ff: I got all of it but the Editor still shows on the Uninstall or Change a Program list in Vista's Control Panel. I also cleaned the registry but it is still there, even after giving a message that it was removed. The files needed for it to run are gone.

Because of this, I cannot Reinstall it. Trying to results in a request if I wish to Uninstall it.
Over.
And over.
And over.

I don't get it. What could cause Vista to claim the Editor is still there when it isn't?
Yes, I do have the tools for FFvtTR  :ffvstr: installed seperately for that program.
Thanks.

When in doubt... boot in Safe mode and try to erase it again.

You could also try a utility such as CCleaner (http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner) that cleans registry entries and I think has an option to remove uninstall entries for missing apps.
