Wasn't sure where to post this but i figured since it's the mesh  ^_^

Is there any way to have persistent bodies / meshes in  :ffvstr:?  Other games have this setting...so after someone dies or gets knocked out their body stays on the ground rather than disappears. I don't like that in "any game" when bodies disappear because it makes it look like there was no battle.

Thanks

That's kinda easy to fix.. if you go to the Templates tab in FFEdit look for a "No Fade = 0" in the characters you want to use in the rumble room and change it to "No Fade = 1" which should keep the mesh from fading. But be warned that it does become a memory issue when there is way too many things on screen and slows everything down or crashes the game entirely. However I have no idea how to change this setting for custom heroes and villians that are not part of the regular game.

No Fade is a CAMERA command. It has nothing to do with fading meshes. This has been talked about before. I can't recall if Stumpy suggested a fix or not, but search here and the FR archives.

As it stands, meshes fade at random most of the time. Custom characters usually remain around (for awhile) from my experience.

My recollection is that by default, it's the game object that determines it.  Villains and heroes don't fade but police (and I think minions) do.  Making your minions into villains instead should keep them around but NPC allies?  I don't know a fix for that one.

Oh, and I'm speaking for  :ff: but think the rules are the same for  :ffvstr: .
