STO Keybinds

Finally found some useful keybind information!  So I'm starting a thread.

Keybinding is FAR less straightforward than in CoX, for example, since your active abilities change based on whether you are in space or on the ground and what you have equipped.

Crucial Tips:

• Remember that you need AT LEAST TWO keybind files for every character... one for space and one for ground.
• Remember that your tray slot assignments will automatically change depending on which kits you have equipped on the ground and which BO's you have on bridge stations in space.
• Use the /cmdlist command in chat to show all available slash commands.
• Keybind chains (commands separated by $$) execute right to left (or last to first, to put it another way).
  
• Spamming keys is a sure-fire way to mess up your keybind chains.  There is a time delay between keypresses.  You need to slow down so you can execute faster.
• Pay attention to cooldowns.  If you put all of your fast cooldowns higher on the chain, you may never get to the actions that fire last.
