and which mesh would be good for him? ren's is great as superman, but a bit large for christobell.
main difference is his hair is different, he seems to have a bit afternoon shadow, and maybe his suit is darker?

Someone did an excellent Christopher Reeves photoskin and mesh way back when. You should try that one. Male_basic_narrowcape looks good too.

this one? it does look great, and menacing, but don't you think superman 3 was a little darker even? darker colors, different hair, and maybe even some stubble?
am i  nitpicking?

The C6 skin is perfect for the regular Christopher Reeve heroic Superman, so you're right, for the "bad" version you would need a new skin. I think a new (darker) costume and some changes to the face (add the stubble, and give him a meaner expression) would be enough.

I've also done a photoskin of Superman Reeve, and that version of Supes is on my list.

However, I've got this Batman skin I'm working on for a guy and won't be able to get to it unti I finish it (and I really need to finish that Cyberman, too).

AA, while I agree with you that it isn't a Gryphon skin, it does come with a readme file that says it is. It looks like someone used a Gryphon base skin and didn't properly identify himself.
