lang error

Im wanting to get back into skinning.

But I get this error as I start up the CT2



Then I get this one.




and then this one.....



Does anyone have the solution to any or all of these errors? If you need to know, I have the game on steam. This used to work but it doesnt anymore.

the tool can't find your powers.dat or your Lang folder. Make sure they are in the correct place and are not corrupt.

This is already understood. I am running the game with steam. I do not know where to place it.

ideally, those files would be in the "Data" folder. However, Steam's version of FFv3R seems to react differently for each user, as I know I've seen this question (and others related to the modding tools) pop up several times, so you may want to give those other threads a browse to see if they're of any help. Might be helpful to give some info about your system as well. What version of Windows are you running and etc.

It may also have to do with install locations.
I think steam installs the game into its own location (different from the disk installer), and the Ctool installer may default to the disk installer location. Because Ctool is dependent on files installed with the game, you might make sure that Ctool got installed to the same location as the game itself.

I'm not able to choose specific directories, only program folders. I even tried typing the location in.
