It's been nearly two years since ive play FF... and I decided to play again so I went through install FF, ffx editor, patch v1.3, ezfx 5.1, and FFX. I noticed that while playing the game, its seems buggy. I can't control characters because of yellow hand. I'm running 64 bit Windows 7, but I have FF install on programs (x86) which is the 32 bit folder, I tried running compatibility for windows xp sp2, sp3, and vista and still same issues.

I also have FFVTTR installed along with its EZFX and FFX and I have no problems.

Thanks for the help in advance.

The "yellow hand" is probably an FFX attribute. Attributes/custom commands are more prominent than other commands such as "click 'n move" and using powers. Not a real issue to worry about, even though it makes certain things a little less convenient.

You didn't describe anything about the crashing, so I can't help with that without more info.

Thanks for your response. Whenever I click exit, to leave the game, a window pops up saying "appcrash". Sometimes, it crashes, while playing the game. Also, the "yellow hand" is constant through out game play and I can't seem to control my character's movement nor their execute of their powers.

I noticed while I was creating a new character, that the custom fx's animations weren't working. I just can't seem to figure out what went wrong. When I only had FF installed along with the patch, the game worked fine. I think the problem started when I installed ezfx and the ffx.  I followed the instructions according to the install order in the faq section of alexff's website. The last step I did was copy the FF shortcut and renamed it FFX 2.6. Open its properties and placed the " -log" at the end of the target's path.  Interestingly enough, after I had installed everything, there seems to be no different between the FFX 2.6 and FF.  All of the custom fxs (without the animations), characters, other ffx stuff are there for ff and ffx.

I guess my only option is to do a clean install.

I've had "yellow hand" problems a few times. I have no idea what causes it, but usually re-starting the program cures it (until the next time it acts up-which once was the next time I ran the program)
