FFvTTR issue

I recently got a new copy of FFvTTR but I'm having the same problem as the person on this thread.

The copy I have is a Digital Jesters one and I'm running my lap top on Windows Vista. Is there a way around this issue?

Does the Explosive version have the same problem or any other known issues with their reliese?

I know I can buy a copy from steam but I would like the copy on disc and in a box.

The Digital Jesters version is effectively quite problematic, from all accounts. I haven't tried to install it, so I don't know if there are any workarounds. However, in addition to the Steam version, the Gog.com version is available too. It doesn't come in a box either, but you can at least burn it to a CD.

Good luck with the install. The game is well worth the effort.

I ordered a copy of FF on eBay and I was looking forward to playing it today but when I opened it, it was another copy of Jesters FFvTTR

I don't think I'm ment to play FF. I downloaded the demos of both FF and FFVTFR on Steam. FF won't work, I have managed to get FFvTFR demo to work so I'm pleased about that. Just need full versions of both games now so that I can enjoy the games along with everyone else.
