Character Tool not working

The Character Tool for FFVTR has always worked for me until today.  i tried to load it and get a Windows notification that there is an error.  The error mentioned a problem with the "msvcr71.dll" which I found on the internet and installed accoreding to the directions but CT still does not work.  Anyone have help to offer?

What error message do you still get after installing the msvcr71.dll?

I remember getting the same error message when i tried installing the Character Tool alone. I got a couple of error messages asking for different dll files but once i got all those dll files in there, it started working for me.

If you installed FFVTR on a different pc, you can find all the necessary dll files there.

I continue to get the msvcr71.dll error even after installing it.  I have tried to reboot and it still gives me the error.

Did you put the msvcr71.dll file in the same directory with the Character Tool application? If you did, then i'm not sure what could be causing the error. Unless the dll file you downloaded is corrupted or something.
