Skinning Challenge/Group Project/ Whatever...

I'm bored, burnt out, and befuddled. I am completely lacking any motivation to create content. That said, Murs' "Marvel Legacy" concept and Laughing Paradox's "Exiles/Weapon X" projects gave me the kick I needed when I needed it. Does anyone have any ideas they would be interested in throwing around?

And please, don't take this the wrong way, but this is NOT a request thread.

Participate using text, skins, sketches, whatever.

Any ideas are welcome.

What if all the Marvel heroes were villains, and wha if all the Marvel villains were heroes.

I had actually been thinking of beginning an Earth 3/Anti-Matter Universe type version of Marvel characters.

Would anyone else be interested?

Mind you, no actual commitment is required for this.

I'd actually like to see all the characters from the recent avengers animated series done. I know Marvel is done to death  But it wouldn't take much to make it a complete package since Thor, Ironman, Antman, Hawkeye, Hulk, Panther etc and a lot of the villains like Zemo and Modok already have been done more than well enough as-is... the only thing missing would be the new Wasp (the cutesy design of whom I'm not overly fond of, but for the purposes of completeness ;P ) and re-do's on a few of the biggest villains like Reaper, Strucker (with his life force-sapping metal hand) and a few others... I would particularly love to see ionic Simon Williams ("Wonder Man") done with the energy wisps coming off of him (similar to how characters with fire have already been done:)


I'd like to do this myself, but I'm pretty sure I'm not skilled enough, at least not yet.

While FreedomReborn was down there was a project over where you chose a batman villian and a forum member for an amalgam.  I thought that was a lot of fun and came up with the following:






Perhaps we could build on that or look at alternate reality versus of characters like the following attempt at an exiles nighthawk



Or perhaps...given that it is Halloween....Zombie versions of forum members!  Or maybe forum member costume design challenges...or...wait a minute, looks like too much caffine today...lol

Ohh!  A Halloween theme seems perfect!  However, feel free to ignore my suggestion as I, of course, have zero artistic ability.

Also, those FR/Bat villains mash-ups are great SCD.  Ha, clever.

It won't be until after Halloween until I start anything, but let's say we do a monthly project, anyone can suggest, anyone can contribute in any way shape or form.

I'll start it up for November:

This will go until the 30th of November, at which time someone else can take up the realm.

Cool.  I can't skin very well, but I can draw and skope...

Is it easier to skin with one of those tablets?  I just can't use the mouse worth a darn.

All my friends love their tablets, and from what I've seen, it is a lot easier than the mouse.

Yeah, I use a mouse too, I'm not an artist, so  would be the only thing I would use a tablet for. Don't think the wife would like me spending the money on something I would only use on a "Game".

Hey CB, I love the concept for this guy.  You've got a pretty great skin, too.  He's instantly recognizable as a patriotic-type hero, but distinct enough of Captain America to be interesting.  I think the black on his legs is good...but I wish there was some way to mirror it on his upper body.
