Question,Please forgive my ignorance but what is the :GOG Version of Freedon Force and the Steam Version of Freedom Force?

Steam refers to a Valve owned software through which users can buy games and use on any computer.

GOG, or Good Old Games, is a website from which users can buy games and use on any computer.

The Good Old Games version is more tool friendly, if I'm correct.

The Steam verson requires some work to get the mod tools running but it really is not bad. GOG prides itself in being pretty much DLC free although they do modify the exes for games that would otherwise not run on a modern computer.

Personally I owned both games on CD and re purchased 'em on Steam cuz it is cheap (like 4 bucks for both games around holidays) and because I want to be able to download this game anytime and on any computer. I have had no problems installing mods and playing it on Steam, especially with mods it runs off a custom EXE that community members make so steam is a non issue.

BTW Welcome aboard!
