Hi there, everyone. I know I haven't been around for a while- I haven't managed to acquire a social life since I moved a couple of years ago, and that's extended to being antisocial online, as well. Hope everyone's well.

I've been taking free online courses from edX- specifically from MIT. I've earned several certificates already. I never actually finished college, and my plan is to take online courses for a couple of years, then see if I can get credit for some of the work I've done at MCLA- they specifically cater to people going back to school (not exclusively, of course), so I'm hopeful. If I can cut down on the time and money required for going back to college, I'd like to finally get a degree. Anyway, that's my plan for now.

Just thought I'd stop by and let people know what I've been up to- I'm going to try to be around more often again. I've missed this place- or, more precisely, the people here.

I think I can predict what most FR members would say: You guys are always welcome here as long as the forums are up and running.

It's sort of like "Cheers", but without the beer and bar stools.  And geekier.  And with superheroes and computer games.

Ok, maybe it's not all that much like "Cheers".  Welcome back anyhow!  ;)

Speak for yourself BlueBard, I have booze and bar stools...so it's a lot like "Cheers" for me...though I never liked that show...hmmm....
