FFX Control Center

Hey, I was starting to get back into the game(FFvTTR) and unfortunately my hard drive crashed last year so I'm starting from scratch.  Well I believe I have done everything right, downloaded everything I need to get back to where I was(save for the decade worth of herofiles and meshes I've found).

But I've gone through and made my first few files and of course they're not working.  I remembered that I did need to open up the Control Center to "brand" the created files so that their attributes can work in-game but whenever I try to pull it up, its not opening.

I have the game on Steam, tried Detourne's workaround and Alex's download and still havent got it to work.

Anyone got any ideas I couldn't find?

Not being a "Tech Guy", I'm not going to be much help here, but the first thing that comes to mind is to double check that all the File Paths are correct.

Did you install FFX3 to the default folder and then make a copy of it in your steam folder?
Do you have a few other mods installed as well?
I hope you have some hero files too.
I can only think of making a 'paper trail' if you will so you could trace what kind of files the control centre is reading from.
