Costume Rating 38: Web of Shadows Wolverine

And finally we reach the end of the symbiote saga with a special request from Tomato, the Web of Shadows symbiote Wolverine:


In the Web of Shadows video game Manhattan is being overrun by symbiotes and various hero and villains get infected, Wolverine among them. This is how he appeared.

There's actually a bunch of different characters we could review from this game but unless anyone has any requests I'll stop here.
This ends the Symbiote series. I did want to do Flash's new Guardians Venom look, but there just aren't any decent pics of it yet. Maybe another day.

Flash series starts next week. It was originally suggested as a Wally West set, but I'll be looking at each of the Flashes and maybe some other DC speedsters. I don't have the final list set up yet so if there's any requests (characters, costumes, alternate realities, videos games, movies etc) just send me a PM. We'll be starting with Jay, and we've already done the classic Barry Allen in the old thread.

It does what it's supposed to; make Wolverine look like Venom or vice-versa.

But seriously, I gave this a 4. As murs says, it does exactly what it says on the tin... it's what wolverine would look like infested with a symbiote. What I really liked about it was that it kind of sparked creativity with people, because you started to see symbiote versions of other marvel characters that put the garbage that we're actually seeing to shame.

Gave this a 4. They did more than just give him a black suit with venom symbol. The moment you see him you realize what this is supposed to be.

Sadly this doesn't do too much for me. It does it's job that's for sure, that is Wolverine as a symbiote, but I just find it kinda plain, specifically in the torso. The head is good but could use some actual eyes.
I'm glad you suggested it Tomato. I like when we get some alternative media choices in here.
