Is there a way to change the directory the game gets the herofiles from?

I want to experiment with having several versions of the game installed since it keeps crashing after a few minutes beacause of too many herofiles.

Is there a way to change this path C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Irrational Games\Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich\Custom\Heroes for my second installation of the game?

Howdy Fronk.  I don't think that's possible.  You could, however, just have different versions of your HF folder and rename them as necessary.  In fact, you might even be able to create a set of launchers that copy over files from different directories to your main one when you open them.  I use a similar system to copy different campaign files in my Marvel Adventures mod.
