Defenders of Democracy Mod?

A mod by lunarman, played it long ago but I lost it.
Can't seem to find it anymore, does anyone still have it?

Hmm, sorry ChronoxDevil, that's one I don't know.  I think it may have been before my time.  Hopefully one of the others has it.

I have a little more information, but not good news.

When the original Freedom Force Forever was finally shutting down, catwho (the site's owner, & super-awesome dude for keeping it running for so long) gave Tomato full access to the entire site to download the entire thing.  I also downloaded everything manually (with the exception of the Litterbox, since that site owner was still active & was working on a full overhaul).  Between what Tomato could see & what I could find, we surmised that either the files for the DOD were hosted off-site with external links, or  (more likely) were deleted on purpose, since the folder on the server was  completely empty.

I did a bit of checking in the Wayback Machine, and likely found as much as you did, just a brief description of the mod, with updates on the mod progress.  All links I found mostly went to "buy this domain" sites.

At this point, we are probably out of luck on this mod, unless someone has a copy of it somewhere & is willing to share it.

Lunarman hasn't been active here since 2010.  You can try sending him a PM, and the board should send him an email to the address he registered with, but after 14 years the odds are slim that you'll hear back.

His profile shows a different address for his site (which , possibly where it was hosted before moving to FFF.  It has a domain country code for Nauru, in Micronesia, which may or may not be of relevance.

I found his threads about the mod in the Archives, but no other links, and it looks like the thread was auto-pruned from the current forums.  From what I read there, he at least had some other files on the server for bug fixes, which leads me to conclude that he deleted everything from the server.  Searching through his threads on it, as well as his posts that are still here, I found no mention of him getting rid of it.
