help modifying energy redirector

Basically just wanting help trying to configure ffx3.3's character ability [energy redirector]
I believe i need to configure a power somehow so that when my character absorbs energy types, he gains a temporary oneshot poweruse.
Just not sure how i create this power and link it up via the ffxcustom2.py, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
