White Cube

I have a couple of questions, and I hope I am on the right forum.  First, some of the skins I have downloaded show a white cube in character creation screen.  I have checked, and I see there are keyframe and nif files, and all of the folders seem in order.  What is causing this problem.

Also, on some of the images I have downloaded, I have noticed that there are no actions available that would allow them to access powers.  How can moves be added to a pre-existing skin?
