Heya, folks. Been trying to post here and do some skins and whatnot, but between PC switches I've been lazy, and...

Well, this WIP is all I've got now:

I'll try messing with nifskope soon and see if I can't get rid of the extra bits and give Mr. Vanko some hair.

Nice!  inventive use of nifskope and what's available out there for whiplash!

Thanks! Tommyboy did most of the work, really - take away the nose ring and extra cylinders, and the Taurus harness matches up fairly well. The only issue is the guy's noggin - I love this guy's keys and bulky frame, but an Omega Red skope may strengthen the resemblance. The tradeoff there is no super cool harness, since I doubt I could transfer it all...but we'll see. This stuff tends to get a lot easier the longer I can spend around here watching you guys do your magic.

Here's what the Taurus mesh looks like now sans collar and with hair:

While I work on getting Whiplash's hair to stay still, I'll try and finish skinning this guy:

I've pretty much only done half of the arms and face so far, and the crazy segmented torso makes it very tempting to give up, but my desire to recreate the Monaco bit from IM2 has kept me going. I'm thinking maybe I'll do some unarmored Tony skins just to figure out a rhythm.

Making some progress on that Iron Man, but I'm starting to think skinning a good Tony face AND a faceplate might be too much. Maybe I'll switch over to a noface VX.

Last night I started messing around with a few comic characters that hadn't been live-action-ized yet, trying to imagine workable real world alternatives to their costumes. I wasn't a big fan of the X-Men militant leather look, but I loved stuff like Afghan Ant's Returns skopes/skins, which retained the spirit of the original Power Girl/Supergirl/boy/Bizarro designs. I also happen to watch Entourage, and wish so very much that an Aquaman film had really been the next big thing on James Cameron's plate.

I've got a really simple look down. It feels like it needs something more - armor, maybe? I'm not sure how "practical" that would look as a movie costume, but it seems to be working for Thor, and Arthur IS royalty...any suggestions?
