Has anyone figured out FFX with Steam yet?

Hey all, I'm just wondering if anyone here has had any luck running FFX while running the game via Steam.  Since installing it in Steam, I can't start the game without Steam starting it, and FFX doesn't load.  None of the attributes load, nor any of the scripts.

I can post any information needed if anyone might know how to help.

I don't use Steam, but looking on their site, it looks like you can adjust the launch options and edit shortcuts to the game within the client.

You would just need to alter it to match the required shortcut format used by ffx (appending the options "-game ffx3 -log").

I could make it work with mycrosys launcher, which you can get here http://www.microsystools.com/products/. It does what Googles says, adding the nessesary extension very easily. You save multiple extension setups for the various mods including FFX.
