This was one of the reasons I cancelled my game preorder before it launched. Saw it coming.

Not entirely true.  Disney shut down LucasArts the game publisher/producer, but will continue to license the Star Wars property to other companies to make games from.  You don't really think Disney of all people would stop a huge cash cow would you?

Basically Disney doesn't make games, they license them, so LucasArts has to go.

I know they will give the rights to the license. I was saying good luck because the license hasn't shown a lot of profit in the gaming industry recently. I understand they would rather collect royalties than have to pay out paychecks. Even though Disney seems to be a goldmine as of late, I don't see too many games being produced through that license for a while. But that's just my opinion. I may be wrong, its happened before (but only once or twice  )
