Bat Villains....and others

Hi everyone, I've been around this site for many years.  I've played both games and hoarded a great deal of content.  In the last year I've gotten back into comic books for the first time since I was a teenager. Lately, feeding some sort of creative vibe has been a priority.  So, I've skinned some bat villains!  Here's a preview:

Hope you like the look of them, any comments or suggestions are very appreciated.  Still have to redo the pants on Black Mask with holsters.  I also have a black mask in a white suit but that damn suit needs work.  Another poker in the fire is a Firefly on a Mach mesh downloaded from tommyboy, as I haven't been able to find one that's been done.  I also have a Brainiac version that I'm trying to put on a Sentry or Superman mesh from Renegade.  A really big thanks to all the skinners, skopers, mappers and modders in this community!  I hope I can contribute a little bit in addition to my enjoyment of everyone else's hard work.

Good stuff but c6's stuff is off the kitbashing list, hopefully you can do your versions that can be released as I'd like to have them.

Thanks guys, didn't realize C6 wasn't to be kitbashed The faces are from a C6 collection of base skins...those are okay to use, right?  And thanks Tomato I will definitely use your suit base before release.  I also have one from ultimate evil I could use.  Obviously credits for all bases will be in readmes with the files.

C6's base skins (and anyone's base skin!) are totally allowed.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath on C6 being added to the kittbashing list. He got burned back in the day when he released his original base skins... Several people just duplicated his style rather than trying to come up with their own (we called them Sim6s) so he's been reluctant to share his bases and such since then.

That said, his existing base skins are totally fine to use, as are any of the modified ones I included with my base meshes.

72, welcome to the active community!  As LP said, more content creators are always welcome!  Don't be discouraged.  You're off to a good start, and lots of folks began with just such a mistake.  I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Ok, so I've been tinkering.  First thing I went hunting for was the wireframe for male suit.  Layed that as a base layer and then put Ultimate Evil's suit base over it.  Then fooled around with shirt, tie, vest and button layers until I got something like this:

I'm not sure if I'm happy where the cut of the vest is, I may lower it.  But at least now I've got a Photoshop file that should allow me to build all kinds of suit colours (damn white is tricky to work with!) and combinations and put a variety of heads on them (Black Mask, Falcone, Lucius Fox etc.).  Thanks for the advice, feedback and encouragement!

Thanks for the positive words everyone!  At this point I'm a cobbler and not a skinner.  I'm relying heavily on base skins from C6, UE, Murs47 and tomato and some people that have allowed their magnificient artwork to be kitbashed like AA.  Here's an image of a bunch of evildoers I've been working on.

So, left to right we have a prometheus skope that has become Lockup; Hugo Strange and Black Mask (that suit .psd file is done with everything I just have to do individual skins).
Black Spider (on a Deadpool mesh) is in the middle, then Brainiac (on a Sentry_REN..not sure about the mesh), a Kang soldier (Punisher_GREN) then General Zod on tommyboy's Superboy prime.  Sneaking around in the back is Anarky 2 ways, hatted and hooded (on tommy versatile mesh).  Again I want to thank all the artists on this site that have allowed their work to be used to create these animalistic musings.
