I'm back...

 Mostly.
About three years ago, I took an unexpected detour away from the internets. Back in 2012, I came home to my apartment, only to find that I had a lot less cool stuff then I had left in it. The folks that broke in managed to grab ALOT of the electronics I had.

They made off with :
- My PS2
- My laptop
- My daughter's Wii
- A portable DVD player (with built in screen)
- An old broken PSP I was tinkering on to try and fix.
- My daughter's DVD player
- Her jewelry box (empty except for some play jewelry.... And her batgirl and super girl earrings:( )
- My modem and router. (  wha? )
- And the big kicker, an OLD X-Box ( the half ton beast) that didn't work.

They also got a bunch of DVDs, a Sodastream machine, and a watch. They pretty much ignored the big heavy stuff, but it still sucked. My daughter never found out ( we replaced the Wii with the one her mother had at her house and she got a new TV for her birthday with a built in DVD player ). It took some time but we recovered. This last year I got myself an iPad (which I'm posting from) among other things.

But enough boo-hooey stuff, and on to the better things. My daughter is now 9 and as smart as her namesake. She has missed being on the honor roll only one time since starting school. And she won Nerd Block Jr.'s February Monster Block. She's had her hair dyed pink two years ago (she dressed as Equestria Girl Fluttershy for Halloween) and blue last year.

Soooo.... How's everyone else been doing?

I'm sorry to hear about the robbery.  We had something very similar happen to us while we were in Illinois, and it was a terrible experience.

Anyway, I'm always glad to see veterans return to FR.  It's crazy how everyone comes back, eventually!

Sounds like 2012 was a major sucky year for a lot of people.  I'm really sorry that had to happen, but at least the family was okay.
