Costume Rating 74: Booster Gold

There's been talk of a Booster Gold movie from DC's TV guy Greg Berlanti, so lets review one of Michael Carter's looks:


This was the outfit he wore during his most recent ongoing which started after the weekly series 52 and ran until about the end of the Post-Crisis universe before DC rebooted with the New 52.

I give Booster a strong like. Very nice colours that fit his theme. Good balance. The goggle/visor is cool. Solid super hero costume. This is probably my favourite version of Booster.

I like it; it's better than his original costume without being substantially different. It looks smoother, sleeker without the collar.

That's pretty much my take on it, though I gave it a love because it manages to achieve the 'perfect,' iconic vibe that the classic JLA members have for the most part.  This is the distilled essence of the original costume, and it perfectly fits the character.  It's balanced, bright, and sleek.
