problem with FFX vs The Third Reich mod

I had gotten FFX vs The third Reich to work properly.  I was playing through the campaign and everything was working smoothly.

Then I played the Marvel mod and was playing Guardians of the Galaxy, and when I got through the mission in the mine it brought up FFX vs the Third Reich.  Now I have the Guardians able to be selected in the team, but if I do so, everything crashes.  It also bought everything (powers and attributes) for the proper characters in the game.

How can I get back to fresh FFX vs The Third Reich game?  I tried reinstalling over the old one, but that didn't work.

Starting the FFX vs The Third Reich over took care of the issue, so it must have corrupted the other save.  Luckily I wasn't that far into the game yet.
