Gambit 97 is based in Checkmate Knightv2 by Gren. I rebuilt the model and keyframes and added new models and textures. This nif also has an animated trench coat. The textures it includes are the standard X-Men '97 look, another without a trenchcoat, his Gala suit, his basketball uniform and his crop top look. Also I included FX and threw in the Hero files I used for testing for the heck of it. Lastly I packaged a map object of the basketball with it. On a side note the hair was really hard to sculpt.

I hate working with solid black. In fact I can hear my art teacher rising from the grave and chewing me out about it. "Why do you have to put thick black shadows on everything? Why can't you work with natural colors?" But? I tried it at first with soft blending and it just did not look like that cell shaded one in the cartoon does so it didn't look right. He does have these thick black shadows in the cartoon. Also originally the cards and basketball and such charged in his hand like the staff does but that also looked ugly and especially in game so I ditched that in favor of making FX for it instead that had the charged look. Always about the in game vs the CTool of course and I feel it looks like the 97 one there.
