New preview at FFC 08/28/09

Well I've got a couple meshes to preview over at ffcenter.net feel free to come check out

Sorry guys but we've had a death in the family (details are at Freedom United my new forum freedom-united.com) I'll be taking a very short temporary break while dealing with funeral arrangements and so on. Funeral will be on Friday at 10 am.

Make of this what you will, some will be confused and others be thrilled.

If I had any idea what that was I'd be even more excited. But even at this stage, it looks like a beautiful base to build skins off of. Could use a head, of course. Still, I'm sure great things will come of this mesh at some point.

Great work on the body!
It looks similar to Valandar's recently redone male_basic, with great proportions.
as for the smile.. wow. cna't wait to see all of the animations you are cooking up.
also that booster gold i think you and ips are putting together

Don't really see why a guy with built in laser in helmet.. needs to bother carrying around a gun.. guess that's just me. Also there would be the prob of both his hands are full.... guess he can't pick up stuff.

P.S. Honestly I wasn't supposed to mesh this... I'm supposed to be working on generic key sets.. stop me before I mesh again!

Vertex, you're insane man...stop giving me more work! Ha, a VX Manta mesh, huh? Too cool! I don't know about that gun the toy has, but there was a neat melee weapon in the Alex Ross "Justice" series you might like more. Either way, I'd encourage you to include a hexable, slimmer, more modern version of his helmet as well!

The picture the Champion just posted is something along those lines, but my favorite image of Manta is definitely this one:

The helmet is a little smaller, a bit more proportional, but still has the classic look. My comments are, of course, merely suggestions. You know your business much better than I do.

I'm guessing all the heads will be interchangable with the different body types? If so, that rocks. I'm very excited about this.

Great moves V!

I would suggest part of his stance in dodge_left_6 as a one of the idle stances (fists on his waist). He could also use a few more "action style" melee_idles...no boxing stance please...I'm so tired of that one.
