Thanks. They'll come out when I finalize the pack, which now ranks in at around 60 fx. This pack + the last 2 packs = just under 130 fx for your FFVTTR needs. Someone needs a retirement.

I know, right? I was amazed that I couldn't find a single dedicated fx for her. It helps that a certain skinner skinned one of her ultimate looks.

Shut your DP mouth.

The tiara as sized is probably a bit too small. I might enlarge it a bit so it can be more easily seen. What do you peeps think?

OMG!....Prev, you are awesome.  I was hesitant about installing your various FX individually, so I've only installed one of two of them...I was so hoping they would be collected into an install pack at some point.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

Dana :D

stumpy

Prev, this looks like a fantastic FX pack.

But, I had some trouble with missing and differently-named files. Is it necessary to have installed your previous FX packs for this to work? In the DAT's "NIF Base" field, I saw a couple references to FX folders that didn't appear to be in the archive (e.g. library\fx\generic\cyclops cone) and a couple where the listing in the DAT was a little different than the one in the pack (e.g. library\fx\generic\DPshield_throw perhaps should be library\fx\generic\DP_shield_throw). If it would be of any use, I can PM you a list of the DAT entries that I had trouble with.

NB: The trouble might be on my end. I recently reinstalled the game and I thought I had installed Alex' EZFX and so on, but maybe I missed something.

PM me the list, Stumpy. I might have changed the name of a few of them since conception [to release], so it'd be good to know of those so I can fix it. Also, the current pack is pre-merged with my other fx packs (X-pack + V-pack), so yeah, you'll have to grab those to get the rest of the fx to pop up.

Thanks. I will download the other FX packs and install them first. Is the DAT included with the latest pack cumulative with all of the previous packs on that page, or should I merge DATs after each one?

Yeah, the "M-pack" is pre-merged with the X-pack and V-pack, but those packs each have their own fx.dat for merging purposes. You'd basically be putting folders in the correct place with the earlier packs.

Xenolith

I can't get any of the variety packs to show up when i play FFX.  I was supposed to merge the variety pack .dat files with the fx.dat in the main game menu, not the ffx menu, right?

I think I mussed something up.

Previsionary

If you want the fx to show up in FFX, you need to merge the files with FFX's "fx.dat." Remember, FFX is essentially a mod, and mods behave independently from each other.

Xenolith

Sheesh.  I thought I did that, but i guess I didn't.  Thanks!!!

216 new FX to add to EZ FX's 180 FX for  :ffvstr:? Wow!  :o

Just want to make sure, does the PFX 1.2 pack follow a specific install order? Like you should install EZfx first, or FFX first and so on... :)

Just to clarify, PFX installs into the base game like EZFX does. It won't affect mods such as FFX directly.

As for an install order, I suppose the ideal setup would be to install PFX "after" ezfx and ffx since it's pre-merged with those files.

I see. Thanks for the clarification and all the hard work you've put into this pack, Previsionary. ^_^

Extra cool! :D

BTW, you should really make a cross-post in the News releases forum. Don't be shy. ;)

It's been over a week now, so has anyone run into any problems that I need to look at and fix? While I certainly won't be going through any efforts to make a new pack (you're on your own now, kids), I'm not opposed to fixing up any lingering issues. :P

Howdy, sir. I loaded the FX Gold fx & sounds last night, merged dat's, & worked fine. I did so in ffx3Mappack mod. I also loaded in your PFX 1.2 after that. Where does that install the data you so? I showed it going to the FFVTTR directory, but not into a specific place therein. If I want to put your fx into ffx3Mappack mod, do I merge the ffx3 directory's fx.dat w/ the ffx3Mappack dat? I really want to make full use of all your hard work.

freegentile

Ugh, sorry, that sentence should say, "Where does that install the data?", not "Where does that install the data you so?" Oy vay.
